REMINDERS FOR MANAGERS:

FIELD PREP:

- If you are the first game of the day, it is your responsibility to chalk the field and set the pitching mound distance for your game. You are also responsible for putting out a trash can with liner at your designated field.

- For subsequent games, a manager may need to move the pitching mound. Make sure to check mound distances before your game. Re-chalk as needed.

- Last game of the day, managers are responsible for locking up all the field equipment and putting away field fences. Make sure all locks are closed - both sheds, gate to shed/snack bar and both street locks. Please make sure no field equipment (ie rakes, brooms, etc.) are left in any of the dugouts or fields.

MOUND DISTANCES:

USA softball mound distance is measured from the rear, back point of home plate to the front edge of the pitching rubber.

  • 10-Under (10U): 35 feet
  • 12-Under (12U): 40 feet
  • 14/16/18-Under: 43 feet

Any questions on expectations, please reach out to a board member. Thank you.
